Developed by Zebra, LaserBand Original was the first direct print laser wristband in the market that featured a self-laminating seal to protect the wristband from moisture and hand-sanitisers. Over the years, Zebra’s Supplies R&D team has developed new solutions to enhance the nursing and patient experience. Their LaserBand2 solutions feature an enhanced shape and design that makes assembly easier and allows the wristband to lie puncture on the wrist to enable quick scanning while providing superior comfort. Direct Thermal Labels Duratherm™
Honeywell’s direct thermal paper label stock is available in an assortment of popular sizes for high-quality, cost-effective printing across multiple environments and applications.
Direct thermal labels do not require a ribbon to print, making them ideal for applications in which confidentiality is critical. Direct thermal media is coated with a heat-sensitive layer that is imaged through direct contact with the print head. The result is a pattern of black dots forming text, barcodes or graphics.
