The SP700 prints at a very impressive 8.9 lines/second, thanks to its bi-directional printing feature and integrated “Logic-Seeking” to optimise the printing process.  With a Clamshell design for easy paper loading, this compact, robust and versatile receipt printer is perfect if you need a reliable and quick print.

Paper widths of 58, 69.5 and 76 mm are easily dealt with, and receipts are printed bi-directionally (via 9-pin dot matrix).  With the optional extra, you can print in two colours and graphic download is integrated into the driver software ensuring good administration of logos and coupons, without needing additional software.

Ideal for retail and hospitality applications, this robust kitchen or bar printer is splash-proof, easy to clean, has an integrated power supply and a compact footprint (160 x 152 x 245mm) to save valuable working space.  The Star SP700 dot-matrix receipt printer can be used in vertical or horizontal positions, with the optional extra of a wall mount, further saving space on the work counter.

The SP700 is intuitive and easy to use, giving you greater operational flexibility.  It is compatible with current Windows version and also Windows Vista, Linux, JavaPOS, OPOS, Mac and ESC/POS.  Its helpful software makes integration easier for you, whilst giving you a wide spectrum of innovative applications: a graphics management tool with name and list functions for easy identification and usage of up to 255 pictures.  Multiple printer configurations and a quick upload into any system are no longer an issue.  Its logo-saving driver tool loads multiple pictures (monochrome or multi-coloured in many formats).

For seamless integration of the SP700 into existing systems, there are serial, parallel, USB and Bluetooth variants at your disposal, as well as a model without interfaces for optional Ethernet or Wi-Fi connectivity.  With the optional HI X Connect port you turn the SP700 into a fully-fledged cloud printer in a few simple steps such as for wireless transmission of restaurant orders to the kitchen.  As needed, you also may connect peripheral devices directly to the printer – this keeps acquisition costs for dedicated POS devices to a minimum.
