The Glancetron 1290 is a magnetic stripe reader for different card applications in an extremely compact design, 115 x 46 x 34 mm (LxWxH).
It reads all three stripes of a magnetic card with ISO standard, and with a bi-directional reader it allows the card to be pulled through in both directions, increasing the speed of transactions.
The collected information is directly converted in the decoder into ASCII characters. You can easily program the data in the Glancetron 1290 yourself (such as convert information, replace characters, cut character strings, etc.) using the user-friendly Windows software.
Connectivity is flexible, the Glancetron 1290 magnetic stripe reader is compatible with all standard interfaces, only an additional cable for meeting specific requirements may have to be ordered. Along with a serial cable and keyboard wedge cable, two cable versions for the USB interface are also available.
