The TM-m50 provides similar capabilities to a traditional ‘legacy’ POS printer including a serial connection port, USB-A connection and 180dpi. High volume POS customers will benefit from fast print speeds of up to 350mm/s, and be confident that the printer is supported by Epson’s proven quality and reliability.
The flexible receipt printer Epson TM-m50 is the ideal accompaniment for all POS systems in retail and hospitality. It is specially designed for work areas with minimal space and features particularly compact housing in a cube design.
Since it outputs receipts either on top or the front, depending on the need, it is well-suited for under-counter mounting. Plus, an optional wall mount for mounting directly to the wall ensures even more flexibility during installation.
In addition to its compact design, the TM-m50 impresses with high willingness to perform: it generates 58 or 80 mm wide receipts at a maximum print speed of up to 350 mm per second at a consistently good quality of up to 180 dpi (7 dots/mm). As such, users in work areas with high print volumes will especially benefit.
The TM-m50’s interfaces include a serial port, a USB port and an Ethernet port. These ensure fast, uncomplicated and seamless integration into existing POS systems. A broad range of integrated functions additionally boosts the receipt printer’s productivity.
High reliability and long durability are naturally also part of the building blocks of the TM-m50. That is why it features a print head which lasts up to 200 km. Its mechanism achieves approximately 20 million lines, while its cutting mechanism withstands up to 2.2 million cuts.
The TM-m50 integrates into almost all existing POS areas, Epson offers it in either black or white.
