WAX RIBBONS
The 1600 Economy wax ribbon works best with paper materials when fast print speeds are required, and in applications with little to no exposure to chemicals or abrasion.
- Ideal for general purpose labeling, shelf labels, shipping and receiving, inventory tracking, warehousing, or retail tags and labels
- Suitable for printing on most uncoated and coated paper labels and tags
- Good print quality at speeds up to 254mm/sec (10ips) and 152mm/sec (6ips) for rotated barcodes
The 2100 High Performance wax ribbon works best with paper materials when fast print speeds are required, and in applications with little to no exposure to chemicals or abrasion.
- This resin-enhanced wax offers superior abrasion resistance when compared to conventional wax products.
- Excellent print quality on normal and rotated bar codes on coated and uncoated labels and tags
- Low printhead energy requirements make it the ideal choice for high speed prints up to 14 ips.
- Recommended for shelf and pallet labeling, shipping and receiving, inventory tracking, warehousing, or retail applications.
The 2300 Performance wax ribbons work best with paper matierlas when fast print speeds are required, and in applications with little to no exposure to chemicals or abrasion.
- Suitable for printing on uncoated and coated paper labels and tags
- Excellent print quality when printing normal or rotated barcodes
- Ability to print up to speeds of 304mm/sec (12ips) and 152mm/sec (6ips) for rotated barcodes
- Excels when used with Zebra desktop printers
- Recommended for use in general purpose labeling, shipping and receiving, inventory tracking, warehousing and distribution, and retail labels and tags
WAX-RESIN RIBBONS
The 3200 Premium Wax/Resin ribbons provide good abrasion and chemical resistance. Ideal for use with top-coated paper and matte synthetic materians, and in applications with moverate to hard exposure to chemicals or abrasion.
- The 3200 high-performance wax/resin thermal transfer ribbon is a special ink formulation that provides outstanding print quality combined with chemical and solvent resistance.
- By providing smear and scratch resistance on Zebra coated paper and matte synthetic label stocks, this ribbon results in excellent staying power and durability in harsh environments.
- Ideal for applications where labels are exposed to solvents or chemicals, subject to abrasion or friction, outdoors, applied to chemical drums, or exposed to water, steam, alkali or acid solutions.
- UL/cUL Certified.
The 3400 high-performance wax/resin ribbon prints dense and durable images oncoated paper labels and many matt synthetics.
- The 3400 wax/resin achieves print speeds of up to 200mm/sec (8ips) even with rotated barcodes.
- The additional resin content provides scratch and smear resistance for labelling of high-ticket items and labels exposed to moderate heat, friction and abrasion.
- Commonly used for automotive labelling, steel mill tagging and synthetic labelling of higher value capital goods.
- UL approved when used with Zebra’s Polyester media, Z-Xtreme™ 4000T White and Silver High-Tack and 8000T Void Matte.
- Available in industrial and desktop sizes (cartridge only)
RESIN RIBBONS
The 5095 is a high-performance resin ink formulation for printing high-quality, durable barcodes on Zebra’s coated gloss synthetic label stocks.
- Provides excellent chemical and temperature resistance, and features superb print quality, particularly when small fonts, graphics and rotated barcodes are desired.
- Produces images resistant to most harsh environments: smearing, moisture, abrasion, extreme temperature and chemicals when printed on Zebra® synthetic label and tag materials.
- Excellent print quality at up to 6 inches per second on gloss synthetic label stocks
- UL/cUL certified
The 4800 performance resin exhibits high print quality when printing dense barcodes and high-resolution graphics, and performs exceptionally well in environments prone to harsh chemicals and excess abrasion.
- Produces high quality resin ribbon for use on matte and gloss synthetics
- Excellent chemical resistance and performance in most harsh environments
- Excellent smear and scratch resistance on both matte and gloss synthetics

The 5100 Premium Resin ribbons provide excellent print quality and durability. Ideal for use with matte and glossy synthetic materials, and in applications requiring extreme chemical, abrasion, or heat resistance.
- The 5100 offers exceptional heat, chemical, and abrasion resistance, and an excellent choice for printing extremely dense barcodes and high-resolution graphics.
- Ideal for applications where labels are exposed to high temperatures and harsh environments: circuit board (PCB) labeling, replacements for laminated labels, or resistance to extreme chemicals.
