Zebra DS9300 Series Presentation Imager – Hands-Free Barcode Scanner for 1D & 2D Barcodes

The Zebra DS9300 Series is the little presentation scanner with big functionality.  Thanks to their compact shape and the 45° cable connector, they fit almost anywhere and look good – ideal for the POS area in hospitality and retail, as well as for trendy boutiques or the hotel industry.

The DS9300 Series captures 1D and 2D barcodes, particularly small, high-density codes, digital barcodes from monitors, as well as OCR, DotCodes, and optional Digimarcs in nearly any condition. A particular advantage is the optional deactivation of EAS anti-theft labels – all you need to do is scan the label. Features include a high-resolution megapixel sensor, an 800 MHz microprocessor with Zebra’s exclusive PRZM technology, a clear, good scan confirmation, as well as USB, RS-232, keyboard wedge and RS-485 interfaces. The imagers are also robust: IP52 certification and impact-resistant from a height of up to 1.5 m. Backwards compatible with the DS9208 cables and power supplies,supported by Zebra’s OneCare Select, OneCare Essential and DataCapture DNA service offerings.

Quickly and easily capture 1D and 2D barcodes, including tiny, high-density codes, codes printed on a label or displayed on a phone, DotCode and dotted DataMatrix codes through cellophane, as well as new invisible Digimarc codes. Intelligent adaptive illumination
The LEDs dynamically adapt to the environment, automatically dimming when not in use and activating when a barcode is present. Recessed LEDs reduce eye annoyance.

Automatically deactivate anti-theft tags
Support for Checkpoint Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) eliminates a step at the POS for faster checkout: a single pass in front of the DS9300 Series captures barcodes and deactivates tags.

Capture multiple barcodes with one press of the scan trigger
With Multi-Code Data Formatting (MDF), the DS9300 Series can capture multiple barcodes with a single scan and transmit only the barcodes an associate needs, in the order the application expects.
