Honeywell ScanPal EDA51K Mobile Computer

Honeywell has developed its cost-effective ScanPal EDA51K enterprise mobile computer specifically for small businesses, such as retail or light warehousing.

For optimised operation on-site or in the field, it features an Android operating system, a 4″ WVGA capacitive touch display with LED backlighting and a 26-key numeric keypad. Plus, there are three scan buttons on both sides of the mobile computer, providing an excellent user experience for both left- and right-handed users.

For the fast capture of common 1D/2D barcodes in virtually any condition, even damaged or hard-to-read, the ScanPal EDA51K relies on Honeywell’s reliable N6703 scan engine. The 13-megapixel colour camera on the rear with auto-focus and LED flash does the rest. Among other things, it is also suitable for capturing images in dark or poorly lit rooms.

The excellent equipment inside the mobile computer ensure excellent performance. It consists of, among others, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.8 GHz octa-core processor and large memory.

In the standard version, this is 3 GB RAM and 32 GB memory, and in the high-end version 4 GB RAM and 64 GB memory. The 4,000 mAh battery provides long battery life and operates up to 12 hours – enough power for an entire shift and more.

As a business partner for both the office and the field, the ScanPal EDA51K connects to the company’s wireless network from nearly anywhere and offers smooth data transmission. Additionally ensured by the USB 2.0 (Type-C), Wi-Fi 802-11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and NFC interfaces, among others.

Plus, its robust housing is fully protected against dust and water jets according to IP65 standards and withstands multiple falls from up to 1.2 m.
